Visiting the places or monument of tourist
attraction like Lal Quila (Red Fort), Jama
Masjid (Biggest Mosque of Asia, having

at a time) Birla Mandir, Akshar Dham Mandir.
Drive past India Gate (memorial to the
Indian army soldiers who died in the World
War I) the Rastrapati Bhawan (formerly the

Manali
After breakfast drive to Manali . Enroute
visiting the Kullu Valley and drive along

Manali: - The Kullu valley in Himachal
Pradesh has an ancient town called Manali.
Surrounded by the snow covered apex peaks
and deodar forests. Manali is a flourishing
Apple orchard industry, a popular honeymoon
destination and trailhead for innumerous
treks and expeditions as well as an ideal
place for adventure sports lovers and nature
seekers.
Manali literally means the 'Home of Manu'.
Manali is named after the sage Manu who
meditated here when he came in this area.
Temle of Manu is situated in the Old Manali.
Other temples here are Hadimba Devi Temple
or Dhungiri Mata Mandir,is a four storey
wooden temple is located in the middle of a
forest, Tibetan temple.

Sanctuary: - The area of this sanctuary is
3,180 hectares. The sanctuary was notified
on 26th February 1954, under the Punjab
Birds and Wild Animals Protection Act, 1933.
Mountaineering Institute is located at
Manali provides training facilities for
Basic and Advance Climbing both for Indian
Nationals and Foreigners. This institute
also conducts other adventurous sports
activities like high altitude trekking,
mountaineering, rock-climbing, skiing, and
high altitude rescue and relief courses.

and Manu Rishi Temple.
Full day excursion visiting, Vashisht
Village, Tibetan Monastery, Sollang Valley,
Rohtang Pass (Upto Snow Line in case Rohtang
is closed due to snow fall). Later Visit
Naggar, visiting Roerich Art Gallery. Naggar:
- Once the capital of erstwhile Kullu state,
Naggar is delightfully situated on a wooded
slope. One can find a large number of famous
temples of Vishnu, Tripura Sundari & Lord
Krishana. Roerich art gallery houses the
paintings and sculptures of Nicholas Roerich.
Naggar is also a base for undertaking treks
to Chanderkhani Pass.

Manali -
Revalsar - Bajnath
After breakfast drive to Revalsar- Distt.
Mandi. Visit to Tibetan Buddha Temple and
Rivalsar Lake.
Revalsar: - A tiny town in the district
Mandi has three Hindu temples, which are
dedicated to Lord Krishna, Lord Shiva and to
the Sage Lomas. A small zoo is maintained
near the lake. There are three Buddhist
monasteries at Rewalsar.
Revalsar Lake: - At an altitude of 1360 m is
the Revalsar lake is square shaped with a
shoreline of 735 m, famous for its seven
floating islands of reed. It is believed
that all seven of them can be moved by
prayer or breeze.
Here are three shrines - a Buddhist
Monastery, where elaborate rituals are
performed, a Sikh Gurudwara and a Hindu
Temple. It was from this place that the Sage
Padma Sambhava, a zealous teacher of
Buddhism, left as a missionary to preach the
doctrine of "The Enlightened" in Tibet also
known as Guru Rimpoche, it was under Padma
Sambhava's influence that Mahayana Buddhism
took root in Tibet at Rewalsar, his spirit
is said to reside in the tiny island of
floating reed that drifts over the water.
Later in the evening drive to Bajnath. On

Bajnath -
Dharamsala
After breakfast drive to Dharamsala .
Enroute visit Brajeshwari Devi Temple in
Kangra Situated in just outside of the town
the beautiful temple dedicated to
Brajeshwari Devi. This was once filled with
a legendary wealth of diamonds and pearls.
Mahmood Ghazni came here in 11th century and
took away all the wealth with him. It was
rebuilt by a Katoch King in 1043. The temple
was again destroyed by an earthquake in
1905. It was rebuilt in its present form in
1920.
Kangra Fort : -
The Kangra Fort situated at a 20 KM distance
from Dharamsala on the out start of the
Kangra Town. The fort is entered through a
small courtyard enclose between two gates
which are known as Patak and only date from
the Sikh period, as appears from an
inscription over the entance. These gates
possess no archaeological interest. From
here a long and narrow passage leads up to
the top of the Fort through the Ahani and
Amiri Darwaza, both attributed to Nawab Alif
Khan, the first governor of Kangra.

the Great Moghuls Some 500 feet from the
outer gate the passage turns round at a very
sharp angle and passes through the Jahangiri
Darwaza.
On arrival in Dharamsala. Check in at the
hotel. Dharamsala: - A small town in the
State of Himachal Pradesh is surrounded by
dense pine trees and Deodar forests. A
nearby snow covered peaks with numerous
streams and cool healthy atmosphere makes
the surroundings very attractive.
Dharamsala has established itself as the
travellers base camp, who comes to explore
the nearby mountains. The area around
Dharamshala is rich in small rivers and
streams, which give an ample opportunity for
angle & fishing. The 20-km stretch of the
river Beas between Nadaun and the Pong Dam
offers ample of opportunities in angling.
The colourful Temple, Monasteries and Gompas,
which reflect the culture of Tibet, adds
attraction for the visitor. The Kangra Art
Museum gives an overview of the rich past of
the region and on the other hand there are
institutes that have been established to
sustain the Tibetan arts, cultures and
traditions.
Today, Dharamsala has become the home of
Tibetan leader Dalai Lama. Even if the
Tibetan community dominates the town, still
it has retained the colonial lifestyle and
British ardour.
The main attraction at Dharamsala are Kangra
Art Museum, St. John's Church, McLeodganj.
